3DS Max Application Layout

3D Studio Max is a content creation tool used in the gaming and film industry. It is a desktop application. Other applications of this nature include (but not limited to):

• Maya
• Blender
• Clara.io (this one is web based)

They all work slightly different from each other and can represent data in different ways.

However, they all share similiarities with each other and understanding the fundamentals of one will gain insight as to how to use another.
