Sub-object editing
sub-object editing involves modifying the geometry at a vertex, edge or face level.
In order to perform sub-object editing, the object must first be converted to an editable poly or editable mesh. This can be done using the context menu found by right clicking on object and choosing it from the menu item.
An editable poly and editable mesh represents the object in different ways and thus have slightly different editing functionalities. We will be working with editable poly's for the most part.
