Building a model from a reference

The previous chapters identify the various things that you can do to create and modify geometric shapes. In order to build art assets for games, you will now need to take those tools and apply them in various ways to create your art asset.

Start first by finding some reference images for the model you wish to create. If it is entirely your own creation you may wish to begin by creating a 2D drawing of the object. Photographs are especially useful. This is especially true if there are multiple photographs of the same model taken from various angles
