Tools
For this course, the main tools that we are using are:
- 3D Studio Max
- Adobe Photoshop
These are available in the lab computers we are using.
There is a free education license that is available for students for 3DS Max from autodesk. Be very very careful about what version you are getting.
- Make sure that you match the version available in the lab because files are not compatible between different years
- there is a free 30 day license and a free student license... make sure you get the student license because the course lasts more than 30 days!
The education license does require some extra steps so get started on this now.
